HES International B.V. is pleased to announce that its Supervisory Board has appointed Mr Steven Lak as Supervisory Board member, in replacement of Mr JP. Peterson, effective 1 October 2019.
Mr Lak has a longstanding and extensive experience in the port sector. Previously, Mr Lak held Executive Board positions at the Port of Rotterdam Authority as well as at EMO, the largest dry bulk import terminal in North West Europe and now a subsidiary of HES International. Mr Lak is currently Chairman of Deltalinqs, which promotes common interests of over 95% of all logistic, ports and industrial enterprises in mainport Rotterdam. He also holds a number of other board positions.
Mr Peterson steps down as member of the Supervisory Board of HES International, effective per 1 October 2019. Mr Peterson has been instrumental in the development of HES International since 1997, initially as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of HES Beheer. Since 2012 he has held a position as member of the Supervisory Board of HES International. We sincerely thank him for his contribution over all these years and wish him and his family well for the future.
