HES International B.V. today announced that its Supervisory Board has appointed Jan Peter Vogel as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors, effective 1st September 2015.
Mr. Vogel, 45, is presently President and CEO of United Bulk Terminals in Houston, the dry bulk business unit of Marquard & Bahls. He has extensive international experience and has successfully held senior positions at Marquard & Bahls in operations and strategy in its oil, dry bulk and renewables business units. Jan Vogel also benefits from a deep experience in driving change linked to the roles he played in integration and organisation in multicultural environments. After his arrival at HES International the Board of Directors will consist of Jan Vogel, Barbara Geelen and Harry van Rietschoten.
Commenting on the appointment, Peter Backhouse, chairman of the HES International Supervisory Board, said: “I very much welcome Jan as the future CEO of HES International.
