HES International B.V. (HES) today announced that Harry van Rietschoten, who has been its Chief Operating Officer since 2012, has decided to leave HES in pursuit of other ambitions. Harry will remain COO until 30th September 2022 to ensure a seamless handover and transition of his experience and knowledge of our terminals and the markets in which these perform.
Daan Vos, Chief Executive Officer of HES said: ‘On behalf of the entire Supervisory Board and Management Board, I would like to thank Harry for his outstanding and ongoing commitment over the past years. Harry has been instrumental in the delisting of the Company from the Amsterdam Stock Exchange in 2014 and in structuring it into one of Europe’s largest independent bulk handling companies for liquid and dry bulk products. We value his efforts and contribution in developing and executing a route map to keep HES relevant in the world of tomorrow. We wish Harry all the best and continued success in the future.’
Harry van Rietschoten added: ‘I have very much enjoyed working with so many talented and committed colleagues and building long term relationships with our customers and other stakeholders. While I am proud of the accomplishments, much remains to be done to complete the transition of the company initiated in 2014. I wish HES and in particular its dedicated employees every success over the coming years and cherish all pleasant memories and friendships developed.’
