HES International B.V. is pleased to announce that its Supervisory Board has appointed Mr Daan Vos as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board, effective 1 October 2019.
Mr Vos has outstanding experience including more than 20 years in the terminals sector, and joins from the Oiltanking Group where he served as Group Managing Director for the past four years. In this position, Mr Vos was jointly responsible for one of the world’s largest independent operators of tank terminals for oils, chemicals and gases. During this time the Oiltanking Group enhanced its strategic focus and grew into new markets and business lines.

Following this appointment, the Executive Board will consist of Daan Vos (Chief Executive Officer), Harry van Rietschoten (Chief Operational Officer) and Barbara Geelen (Chief Financial Officer).
HES International has built a unique platform of best-in-class dry and liquid bulk terminals, including the two largest dry bulk import terminals in North West Europe, EMO (Rotterdam) and OBA (Amsterdam), and the newest liquid bulk terminal in North West Europe, HES Botlek Tank Terminal (Rotterdam).
