We operate 3 strategically located terminals in Liège-Monsin, Val Saint-Lambert in Seraing and Tihange.
We serve local and international customers in the steel industry, construction, agricultural and power generation business. Founded in 1920, our knowledge and ambition over the past years have led to a bulk terminal which is unique in its operational flexibility and efficiency. In addition to loading, unloading and transshipment of a broad variety of products, we offer a large asphalted area for open storage as well as multifunctional covered storage facilities.

Contributing to the world of tomorrow. That’s what we do at SOMEF. We are an important switch in the continuous delivery of essential building blocks for our everyday life. The new footbridge in Liège, the steel of the car you drive, the cement of your buildings: chances are that the necessary raw materials for these products were transported via our terminal. You can even find it in your washing machine and the mirror you use in your bathroom! At Somef, around 50 colleagues dynamically work 24/7 on matters that affect and shape our daily lives.
